We’re a group of concerned parents and community members who want Bandon Schools to be the best they can be. The 2025-26 school year was particularly challenging for students, staff and families due to a lack of transparency and accountability within district leadership and the Bandon School Board.

Recent Updates within the District:

• Spring 2026: various new members joined the Bandon School Board. Since June the board has been working diligently to set the district back on a positive course.

• July 2026: a new superintendent and high school/middle school principal were hired, both of whom are committed to rebuilding trust and academic excellence within the district.

• August 2026: a judge ruled that the involuntary teacher transfers that took place in May of 2025 - which sparked much of the conflict within the district - were illegal and violated the teachers’ collective bargaining agreement. The final ruling can be accessed here.

Our vision is simple: a district where trust is rebuilt, students, staff and families are respected, and decisions are made with transparency and goodwill. When our schools are governed with integrity, our whole community thrives.
