In October 2025, the district removed the majority of video recordings of past School Board meetings, union grievance hearings, and work sessions from the Bandon School Board YouTube Channel. This is not normal, is not transparent, and is not in the spirit of Oregon’s open meeting law. Every other school district in the region has their public meeting recordings posted going back multiple years. The Superintendent claimed that it was due to “technical glitches,” but under significant public pressure, she admitted at the November Board meeting that they simply needed to click a button to republish all the missing videos.
