To whom it may concern:
I have been tasked today with the honor of preparing a letter of recommendation for Mr. Trevisiol as he is soon to embark on a new pathway for his life.
I met Chris in the winter of 2020 approaching him, and the Bandon School District, in regards to any roofing or waterproofing concerns his district might have. Immediately I knew Chris was a respectable gentleman acting extremely professional, with just enough personality sprinkled in to make you feel comfortable. I could tell he wasn’t a man who just “clocked in” to his job but instead made it personal, donating his free time and materials to his mission. He was a man that stood not only for the greater good of the district but the idea that he wanted to surround the district with people who he could personally guarantee they’d produce quality, satisfaction, and longevity. I think it’s fair to say I admired him immediately.
As time passed I was able to be involved with several projects with the district that were part of their bond passed by the community. These projects included a $1.7m roofing restoration, and a $2.7m HVAC upgrade for the district. These projects from day one were 100% Mr. Trevisiol’s projects. What I mean by that is he handled procurement, dealt with change orders and finances incoming and outgoing, managed several different trades, signed off on scopes of work, and coordinated items with the district including traffic, area closures, and all needs and concerns brought up from staff involved. Did I mention the whole time he withheld his own responsibilities as a facility manager, took on being a transportation manager, and navigated through a superintendent change?
When it comes to understanding what is needed in a muti-task situation I don’t know anyone who does it better. Also worth consideration is to be able to perform under the stress from the district, community, and trades involved in these projects daily.
Frankly, in my field, with the numerous school districts I work with throughout 2 states, this amount of responsibility and work load I have never seen be assumed by one man. I know working closely with Chris threw these projects he never complained and always did his best to do right by the district and the contractors. I guarantee that the numerous contractors that were used on these projects would call Chris a great guy if not a great friend, and someone they’d be delighted to work with time and time again.
Thank you for the privilege of being able to share my experience of this great man, employee, co-worker, and friend. If I can provide any more information about Mr. Trevisiol please don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email.
Sincerely,
Craig McCullough
